January 2, 1965
I went up to Grace Johnsons in the afternoon, while the men went to the Snell barn. Herbert & I stayed for supper and played Pinochle.
January 3, 1965
We went to church & S. S. Then we took supper with Marion Groff.
January 4, 1965
I did the ironing and some cleaning.
January 5, 1965
I went to Hazel Trumbull’s in the P. M.
January 6, 1965
The missionary meeting was held here.
January 8, 1965
We attended Grange meeting.
January 10, 1965
We attended church & S. S. We had Margaret and Clarence Beekman down for supper.
January 11, 1965
I helped clean the grange hall in the P. M. I went to the regional meeting held there in the evening.
January 13, 1965
Keith & Herbert attended the N. Y. State Agricultural meeting in Albany. Hazel T. was here for supper.
January 14, 1965
Herbert, Keith & I attended Pomona Grange at Johnstown.
January 15, 1965
Flo Chase spent the day with us.
January 16, 1965
I attended Study Class meeting at Mrs. Pryor’s. I helped Wm. Dievendorf with Math. 12.

We attended church and S. S. We called on the Cronkhites.
January 23, 1965
We went to Grange and Herbert had a poor spell. We took him to Little Falls Hospital in the ambulance. Keith came after me. A very stormy night.
January 24, 1965
Keith & I took Wayne & Karen to church. Then we went to the hospital. They didn’t know what was the matter with Herbert.
January 27 & 28, 1965
I substituted for Mr. Nash, Jr. High teacher in the St. Johnsville School. When Herbert was in the hospital I went to see him every day except 1. They all had the flu down at Keith’s. Some of them managed to get the work done.
February 7, 1965
I substituted Feb. 4 & 5th for Mr. Wilson. I went to church at St. J. Then I went to Little Falls and brought Herbert home.
February 8, 1965
I substituted for Marion Shults.
February 9, 1965
Herbert rode to F. Plain with me. It was a beautiful, sunshiny day. Albert & Calla Getman called in the P. M.

I attended Community Club meeting at St. J. Mrs. Bilobroka spoke on Africa.
February 14, 1965
We attended church and then Alta invited Etta, Charles, Herbert & me up for supper.

I attended D. A. R. meeting at St. J.

I taught school at St. Johnsville for Mr. Bauder. It was lots of fun.
February 18, 1965
I tutored Beth Bowers. Sold 9 cows from our barn.
February 19, 1965
I taught at Fort Plain for Mr. Silfer.
February 20, 1965
My birthday! I was invited to a luncheon at Ruth Sheffields. We went to call on Ira & Edith Timmerman and on Frank & Lena Burkdorf.

After lunch, we took Etta & Charles up to call on Edith Groff.
February 22, 1965
We went up to see Margaret & Clarence. It was very stormy in Snells Bush. We came back by C. Creek.

I went with Bessie & Hazel to hooked rug class.

Herbert & I worked at the library. David was here for Algebra.

No school, on account of freezing rain.
February 26, 1965
We had to call off grange meeting, as Keith was in bed on account of a lame back.
February 27, 1965
I went to Study Class meeting. Hazel took us to chicken supper at the Masonic Temple. We took grandchildren to dance and we spent evening at Margaret Handys.
February 28, 1965
We called on Olga Beischer, while we waited for Keith H. to help with milking at C. Creek.
March 1, 1965
I taught for Miss Markell at F. Plain.
March 6, 1965
Lynn & Jeanie Cronkhite were here for supper. Mildred & Will Thresher came for the evening. We played Pinochle.
March 7, 1965
Alma Miller invited Alta & Floyd, Marion G. and us down for 4 o’clock dinner. Alma, Herbert & I went to High School to hear the Eisenberg Stringed quartette.
March 8, 1965
I invited Keith’s family and Margaret & Clarence to 4 o’clock dinner for Herbert’s birthday.
March 9, 1965
I went to hairdressers in P. M. and to hooked rug class in the evening. Gene Youker & Cecil Handy called.
March 10, 1965
I helped Janice in the forenoon, as she had a lame back.
March 14, 1965
We went over to see Harold & Dorothy after church. We stayed for supper. Then we went to Grace Church Lenten Service.
March 16, 1965
I attended the D. A. R. meeting and then reported for hooked rug class.
March 19, 1965
Six of us attended the neighbor night grange meeting at Mayfield. A very nice program was presented.
March 20, 1965
Herbert & I were working for several days to remove 4 coats of paper in the front halls.
March 21, 1965
I had a very severe cold, and could not attend church.
March 22, 1965
I stayed in, and did not go to Canajoharie to tutor. List of people I tutored. Same Matt, Harry Wiggins, Amy Vosburgh, Eileen Moyer, Beth Bowers, Betty Snyder, Paril Hawkins, Terry Sinner.
March 24, 1965
Herbert & I went to pancake dinner at Leggs in Herkimer.
March 25, 1965
Herbert went to auction. Ross Johnson’s cows were sold.
